Baked ziti is like an easier lasagne. It's great for feeding a crowd.

Penne or rigatoni can replace ziti.

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C / 180°C fan. Cook the pasta for 2 minutes less than the pack says.
  2. Brown the mince with the onion and garlic. Add the passata and oregano and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. Mix the pasta with the sauce. Spread half in a baking dish, dot with ricotta and add half the mozzarella.
  4. Add the rest of the pasta and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbling and golden.
